An introductory consultation is required prior to establishing care. This brief, 15-minute phone call with Dr. Larivee is designed to clarify your goals, review the nature of your skin condition, and determine whether our integrative care model is an appropriate fit.

Some dermatologic conditions are best managed through conventional, insurance-based care. When this is the case, we prioritize directing patients toward timely, cost-effective treatment through their existing insurance benefits rather than pursuing unnecessary out-of-pocket care.

*Please note that, in accordance with the law, medical advice cannot be provided until a formal patient-provider relationship has been established. As such, no individualized medical recommendations are given during the introductory consultation.

Question 2

Establish Care

If accepted for care, you will complete a detailed intake and submit relevant medical records, photographs, and prior treatment history. This allows for an in-depth understanding of your condition and prior response patterns before your initial visit.

Once these forms are signed and your electronic intake forms are completed, we'll email you an order for two specialty labs to be completed before our initial visit. These labs will ship directly to you. You will collect urine and stool samples as directed and then mail them back to the lab using the provided mailer.

The cost of this comprehensive lab work is approximately $650.

It's important to note that Integrative Dermatology Solutions does not profit from these lab tests. Instead, these specialty labs provide us with a detailed understanding of your biochemistry, enabling us to identify and prioritize aspects to address when formulating your personalized treatment plan.

Question 3

Initial Visit

This telemedicine visit is 90 minutes and costs $650. A comprehensive visit focused on identifying the drivers of your skin condition, including immune, metabolic, hormonal, environmental, and lifestyle factors. A personalized treatment strategy is developed based on your clinical presentation and goals.

Your care plan may include topical, systemic, nutritional, lifestyle, and adjunctive therapies as clinically indicated. Treatment decisions are evidence-informed and tailored to disease severity, response, and tolerance.

Question 4

Follow Up Visit

Accepted Answer

This telemedicine visit is 30 minutes and costs $250.  Dr. Larivee will evaluate the prognosis of your skin condition and modify your treatment plan accordingly.

Chronic skin conditions require longitudinal management. Regular follow-ups, photo review, and secure communication allow your treatment plan to be adjusted over time to support clearance and minimize flares.
 
Note: Treatment plans will change at each follow up visit.  Our approach is extremely thorough and while it is our goal to graduate you from our care as soon as possible, we do anticipate on average total of 3-5 follow up visits occurring approximately every 8-10 weeks.

Question 5

Follow Up With Lab Review

While it's impossible to predict the needs of every individual, there are cases where additional lab work may be necessary. In such instances, we will conduct either new lab tests or repeat the original ones.

Please note that for these specific scenarios, the follow-up visit will be extended to 60 minutes and is priced at $500.
